Privacy Policy

Version 1.1 | Last Updated: October 2, 2025

1) Who we are

Humyn LLC (“Humyn,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides tools that analyze public online conversations to help you discover insights.

Controller: Humyn LLC, 16205 Moss Haven Lane, Frisco, TX 75033
Privacy contact: humynstudio@gmail.com
Legal notices: humynstudio@gmail.com
EU/UK users: If and when we appoint an EU/UK representative, we will add their details here.

2) What we collect

Account & billing. Name, email, password hash, workspace/team, plan details; limited billing metadata. (Full card numbers are handled by our payment provider, Stripe.)
Usage & diagnostics. Feature clicks, pages viewed, device/browser type, IP-derived coarse location, performance/crash logs.
Support. Messages, feedback, and attachments you send us.
Your inputs. URLs, queries, project names/tags, and text you submit for analysis.
Public-web content we fetch (Reddit). When you submit URLs or run a project, we retrieve posts/comments from publicly accessible Reddit pages. To operate features, we may store excerpts, IDs/links, and metadata, along with our machine-learning outputs (e.g., clusters, sentiment/theme scores).
Cookies & similar tech. Used to keep you signed in, measure performance, run experiments, and improve the product. See “Cookies & tracking” below.

3) How we use information (purposes & legal bases)

  • Provide and secure the Service (run analyses, authenticate, prevent abuse). Legal bases: contract; legitimate interests.

  • Improve the Service (debugging, analytics, experiments, quality). Legal basis: legitimate interests.

  • Communicate with you (transactional emails, product updates with opt-out). Legal bases: contract; consent or legitimate interests (as applicable).

  • Compliance (tax, legal requests, enforcing terms). Legal bases: legal obligation; legitimate interests.

4) Machine learning & automated processing

Humyn uses machine learning to classify, cluster, summarize, and score content so we can surface patterns and insights (for example, grouping similar comments, estimating sentiment, or highlighting recurring themes). We do not rely on solely automated processing to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you (such as decisions about eligibility, pricing, or legal rights).
If you have questions about our automated processing in your context, contact humynstudio@gmail.com. Where applicable law grants additional rights regarding automated processing, you may request information about our use of it and, where required, opt out of certain uses.

5) Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers (subprocessors). We use third parties for hosting, databases, analytics, email/support, payments, error tracking, and experiments. They may process limited personal data under contracts that restrict their use to providing services to us. (Known providers today include Stripe for payments and Google/Gmail for email.) We maintain an up-to-date list of subprocessors upon request or at /legal-terms/subprocessors (when published).

  • Legal/safety. To comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect rights, safety, and security.

  • Change of control. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (with notice and choices where required).

6) Your rights & choices

EU/UK: You may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to certain processing and to withdraw consent.
U.S. states: Depending on your state, you may have rights to access/correct/delete, to data portability, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising or profiling.
How to exercise rights: Email humynstudio@gmail.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by law.

7) International transfers

If we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) and supplementary measures as needed.

8) Retention

  • Logs & diagnostics: retained for 90 days.

  • Projects & outputs: retained until you delete them or after 12 months of inactivity, whichever occurs first.

  • Backups: retained on a rolling 30-day schedule and then purged.
We may retain limited information as needed to comply with law, prevent fraud/abuse, or resolve disputes.

9) Cookies & tracking

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies (authentication, load balancing).

  • Analytics/performance (usage, diagnostics).

  • Product experience (tours, experiments).

You can manage cookies in your browser settings; blocking some cookies may limit features. Global Privacy Control (GPC): at this time, we do not respond to GPC signals.

10) Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA/UK. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11) Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring) to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure—please use a strong, unique password and protect your credentials.

12) Third-party links & platform content

Links/embeds to third-party platforms (e.g., Reddit) are governed by those platforms’ terms and privacy policies. Original content remains the property of its publishers.

13) Model improvement

We may use de-identified, aggregated interaction signals from your use of the Service (for example, whether you marked a comment as pruned or kept) to train and evaluate our machine-learning models and improve product quality. We do not use the private text of your projects to train foundation models unless you have given us explicit permission.

14) Changes & contact

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you (for example, by email or in-app).
